Hi! My name is May Zaben, pleased to meet you! Yes, I'm wearing a Van Gogh-themed hat in this picture. AND I'm carrying a Van Gogh-themed tray and coaster. Fun, right?
In more exciting news, I'm a recent graduate of English Literature and I'm a personal blogger! I studied cool stuff like Irish Literature at my university King's College London and I started a blog called Mermaid with Sea-Green Eyes on Medium. I regularly write personal entries, poetry, and short stories there. One of the things I am most interested in pursuing is becoming a professional writer one day. I would like to write a fantasy book and a poetry book.

Fun Facts About Me:
1. I’m a streams-of-consciousness writer (can come up with a poem in minutes!).
2. I listen to Gracie Abrams's "That's So True" and "I Knew It, I Know You" for major writing inspiration.
3. I think Coldplay has some of the most beautifully written songs in the world.
4. My favorite childhood book is Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.
5. A book I would love to read one day is War & Peace by Leo Tolstoy.
6. Two of my favorite film scripts are A Walk to Remember (2002) and How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days (2003).
